Human@Work

Why Our Oldest Advantage Matters More Than Ever in the Age of AI

From the Introduction

Where the first book in this series, Civil@Work, delineated what is required for health human interaction in the workplace, Human@Work shows why our relational skills--distinctly human capabilities--now matter more than ever in the age of AI.  These capabilities are introduced as the Relate-Judge-Adapt Framework for Human-Tech Collaboration: relational intelligence, human judgment, and adaptive capacity.

In this book author Virginia McGowan PhD, an applied anthropologist, integrates two  lineages to explain how and why these capabilities are essential: mainstream research and anthropological research.  Together, these lineages give us a stronger, more compelling vision of how distinctly human capabilities are our greatest (and oldest) advantage in an AI-integrated world.
